Depending on the area that needs to be imaged, you may be asked to change into a gown as well as to remove jewelry and accessories that could interfere with the process.

This is a simple, painless procedure. The X-ray technologist will help you to get into position on the exam table. You will need to hold still for a few seconds. You may be placed in several positions.The entire exam will take less than 15 minutes.
What happens next?
Your X-ray images will be interpreted by a skilled radiologist, who will then send a report to your physician within 24 hours.
